For weeks leading up to the Oscars I kept hearing people say that La La Land will definitely win, even though the general consensus was that Moonlight should, so to have La La Land declared winner, but then have Moonlight declared the actual winner seems like an unlikely coincedence. Pair that with the Oscars noticable drop in viewership over Even the NAME of the show was a mystery! Also it doesn't f---ing matter at all that it's called that. This one's a stinker, guys. TV Guide Rating: 0.5/5. The I-Land is now streaming on Netflix I constantly felt like La La Land was framed just a bit too close. For almost tge whole movie. Some of the color work is nice, but I think it got nominated for all the long takes. Though to me, there were scenes that needed edits to other shots. I don't think the cinematography was successful at what it attempted.
